What is the Regular Service programme?
For all individuals who value their health and who are exposed to major psychophysical stresses on a daily basis, we have developed the Regular Service programme, an extended preventive programme to help them stay healthy. It is aimed at anyone who wants a more accurate expert assessment of their health and advice on how to reduce their risk factors for the most common diseases of our time. It is designed to focus on treating and looking for early signs of disease, identifying risk factors and advising on further measures to maintain health.
Focused on you
Our focus is on tailoring the content of the examination to the individual, taking into account gender, age, family history, lifestyle and occupation and, last but not least, the subject’s preferences. That’s why the Regular Service programme has a BASIC part, which is carried out on each subject, and an INDIVIDUAL part, where we offer additional diagnostics and specialist examinations according to the subject’s individual needs and preferences.
- BASIC PART - covers a set of recommended sex-specific tests to be performed on each subject. The aim is to detect diseases that do not show obvious signs and can only be detected by diagnostic tests.
- INDIVIDUAL PART - where the Basic Part can be extended according to the needs or wishes of the individual, with various additional specialist examinations.
- DNA testing + BASIC PART - The combination of the basic service of the Regular Service and DNA testing is the most innovative approach to taking care of your health. Laboratory blood test for tumour markers:
- a general clinical examination, focusing on the identification of cardiovascular risk factors,
- assessing nutritional status using body mass index, abdominal circumference and body fat measurements,
- a complete blood count and an expanded range of blood biochemistry tests, including thyroid hormone assays and urinalysis,
- defining the overall cardiovascular risk of cardiovascular disease (coronary heart disease, heart attack),
- laboratory blood tests for tumour markers:

- CEA - a tumour marker for the detection of colorectal cancer,
- PSA - a tumour marker for prostate cancer,
- Ca 19-9 - a tumour marker for the detection of pancreatic, gastric and bile duct cancers.
Women:
- CEA - a tumour marker for the detection of colorectal cancer,
- Ca 19-9 - a tumour marker for the detection of pancreatic, gastric and bile duct cancers,

Cardiological examination with cardiorespiratory diagnostics:
- ECG examination of the heart.
- Cardiac stress testing on a bicycle to assess cardiovascular performance by measuring blood pressure during exercise and recording an ECG. Exercise stress testing is the basic test for suspected ischaemic heart disease, but it also shows heart rhythm and blood pressure movements during exercise
- Ultrasound of the heart to determine the thickness of the heart walls, heart motion, measure the size of the heart cavities, and assess the valves, aorta and cardiac sheath.
Other investigations:
- gynaecological examination,
- urological examination,
- ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries, which looks at the thickness of the carotid artery wall to detect early signs of atherosclerosis,
- abdominal ultrasound to check for any internal organ disease and calculate prostate volume,
- vision screening using the Rod test (screening for visual acuity, depth vision, night vision, colour vision), Peri test,
- spirometry to determine lung function.

Psychiatric and psychotherapeutic
Clinic
Comprehensive care for your mental health. The psychiatric and psychotherapy clinic offers help for people with mood disorders, crises, anxiety, depression, partner therapy and family counselling.
Tyrology
Clinic
The thyroid clinic treats patients with thyroid and parathyroid diseases. Ultrasound examination is used to determine the size and any nodular changes of the thyroid gland.
Dermatology
Clinic
Early detection of skin lesions and skin diseases. We recommend that everyone is screened at least once, with follow-up depending on the changes found in the skin.
Colonoscopy
We advise and perform it after you turn 40 and at younger ages if there is a family history of bowel cancer and a positive stool blood test.
Gastroscopy
It is advised and performed in case of any clinical indication (e.g. pain in the stomach or duodenum).
ENT
For ear, nose or throat problems. We can also do an audiogram – a hearing test.

Price list and conditions
- All persons of legal age – both citizens of Slovenia and foreigners – can enrol.
- Patients with chronic diseases can also enrol.
- You do not need any insurance to enrol.
- Doctors will only issue the necessary medicines on a white prescription.
- Emergency medical assistance is not included in the programme.
- The minimum contract period (General Terms and Conditions) is 2 years.
The annual fee is €264.00 per person, which can be paid in several instalments (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually).
